Question the status quo and make change happen —
our flat hierarchy ensures everyone's ideas are heard.
At Emma, you take full responsibility for projects. Instead
of asking for approval, you decide, share, and act.

international team
Many of our Emmies relocate for their positions, and at Emma you will always be working with an international team. Our teams are spread out over different offices, which means that there is plenty of opportunity for cross-collaboration on global projects.
- What is your home-office policy?Everyone has 22 home office days per quarter. With this approach, we allow up to 40% home office. Be aware that the policy could be amended or changed at any time as we are jointly learning what works best along the way.
- Why is Emma actually an office-first environment? While we know that many Emmies have their own preference on where they want to work, we need to take an approach that works best for a diverse environment and maximises performance company-wide. The key reasons for Emma being an office-first environment are: The success of our business is based entirely on teamwork: the people, the culture and our approach to working together in an agile and smart way. The best way to foster this success factor is by maximising the time we spend together in the office. The best way for new Emmies to learn, adapt and grow is through the example set by older Emmies and the many brief or informal interactions that take place in an office setting. Creativity and entrepreneurship are often best in informal, face-to-face interactions - whether it's the moment you leave a meeting room and talk to a colleague about that one idea you had, or simply dropping by someone’s desk to pitch an idea
- What is the Go Global Program and who can do it?Go Global is a program that is designed to help develop Emmies. Accordingly, they are decided as part of their development plans and usually last 1-3 months, during which period the Emmie spends time in a different Emma office. Another offering is Easy Go Global, which allows Emmies to travel to a different office and work from there for a shorter amount of time. All cost is born by the Emmie as there is no business need required, and requires approval by the Team Lead and Global Mobility.
- What can I expect at Emma?At Emma, we build high-performing teams. During your time here you will experience massive growth and learning. You will be expected to take your own initiative to get where you want to go, which can sometimes be a difficult adjustment, but we are here to support you journey.
