What you'll do:
- Overseeing HR operations and compliance audits across Germany and EU regions, ensuring adherence to local employment laws and regulations.
- Developing and implementing audit strategies to assess and enhance compliance with labor laws, payroll, benefits, and other HR processes.
- Leading the end-to-end management of payroll and benefits for employees, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Generating comprehensive payroll and compliance reports to aid in strategic decision-making and financial analysis.
- Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues related to legal disputes, and compliance breaches.
- Establishing and maintaining robust relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure effective service delivery.
- Demonstrating expertise in EU employment law, global mobility, payroll compliance, and benefits administration.
- Creating, optimizing, and maintaining documentation and operational procedures related to HR compliance and mobility.
- Leveraging data analytics and employee feedback to continuously improve HR processes and the overall employee experience.
- Proactively identifying potential HR issues and implementing preventative measures.
- Serving as the liaison with local labor authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in HR with a strong focus on compliance and audits within the EU.
- Proven ability to design and lead compliance audits and implement HR processes in alignment with regional legal requirements.
- Capability to manage high-stakes HR projects autonomously with a structured and analytical approach.
- A passion for enhancing organizational culture and developing a people-centric work environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and drive HR innovations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism and discretion, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken, with additional European languages being advantageous.
