What you'll do
- You will be leading the UK Warehouse to Delivery Team for the Offline Team.
- Monitor the quality and performance of our global suppliers
- You will be responsible for developing new suppliers and for supporting the launch of new products for the UK market.
- Drive the selection of and negotiations with production suppliers for both new and existing products.
- Devise an appropriate action plan and work with the suppliers to achieve continuous improvement to quality of delivery.
- Work with the country manager to grow the delivery network required for business growth.
- You will take responsibility for the execution of a sales-oriented demand forecasting process.
- You will create continuous demand forecasts and coordinate their elaboration, aligned with the global operations team and with international suppliers.
- You regularly check and analyze the existing planning parameters for the continuous optimization of the required inventory levels.
- You are responsible for ensuring the permanent availability of goods with optimum stock levels in cooperation with our warehouses and external suppliers.
- You will be responsible for our third-party UK partners.
Who we're looking for
- You have finished a graduation degree in business administration, engineering, production or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain/Procurement
- Ideally you have previous working experience with operations and/or supply chain and/or procurement
- Strong people leadership and negotiation skills
- You have a positive mindset to overcome problems and to find out of box - solutions
- You enjoy team work and take ownership for your tasks
- You are a self-starter and can work independently
- You have a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics (last mile)
- You are analytically strong and have a strong appetite for making evidence-based rational decisions
- You consider multiple aspects when making business-relevant, pragmatic decisions
- You are fascinated by fast scalable business models
- You are fluent in English
