What you'll do
- Optimize Logistics Operations: Help implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Partner Management: Work with logistics partners (3PLs, carriers) to ensure smooth operations and high performance.
- Track Performance: Monitor key metrics (OTIF, lead times, service quality) to assess performance and suggest improvements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and execute opportunities to standardize and optimize logistics processes.
- Cost Control: Use data to reduce costs at the SKU level and improve customer outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams and business leaders to align logistics processes with overall business goals.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest logistics trends and technologies to bring new ideas to the team.
Who we're looking for:
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, with a focus on process optimization and performance monitoring.
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable working with data to make decisions and improve performance.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues in logistics processes and find practical solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different teams.
- Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with logistics systems (WMS, TMS) is a plus.
