The role:

 This is a high-impact, business-facing role within the Finance Intelligence team. You'll support strategic decision-making and projects who drive business performance, being a pivot between Finance and Business teams.  

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, influence cross-functional teams, and help shape strategy and resource allocation to support long-term growth, driving Emma's business plan.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of the market/market drivers, customers’ insights, and competitors’ information to provide actionable insights to help uncover potential business opportunities and foster timely management discussion and decision-making. 
  • Support alignment between financial goals, operational goals, and corporate strategy by securing cross-collaboration across the organization. 
  • Help shape, optimize, and oversee Emma’s multi-year business planning process, integrating investment priorities and key initiatives as set by Management. 
  • Establish governance mechanisms to ensure cross-collaboration, follow-up, and accountability for strategic initiatives, with clear ownership and execution tracking. 
  • Support with implementation of a risk management system and scenario planning framework that is linked to the overall planning process cycle and aims at developing risk mitigation strategies. 
  • Lead the development of Emma’s Sustainability Report, translating our values, beliefs, and long-term commitments into a clear narrative with measurable outcomes. 
  • Lead / support cross-functional special projects 

Who We're Looking For:

  • You have +8 years of experience in Controlling/Financial Planning or Strategy/Business Insights with an excellent understanding of Financial Performance Measurement Systems. 
  • Sharp analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills to support identification of key decision drivers and leverage analyses to provide recommendations. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence cross-functionally at all levels.  
  • Ability to balance business rigor and creative thinking, bring outside-in perspectives, business understanding, and challenge the status quo. 
  • You demonstrate proactivity and an entrepreneurial mindset. You take ownership, challenge the status quo, and have a hands-on work mentality.
