What You Will Do
- You will be a team manager for our analytics function and at the same time responsible for driving critical results for one of four stakeholder domains.
- To ensure we are building the data products with the most impact you will partner with a Data Product Manager.
- You will drive the design, creation, and launch of new data products from ingestion to the hands of stakeholders in your domain.
- To enable you to own the products end-to-end, you will give directions to a cross functional group containing Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts.
- You will provide guidance, support, and mentoring to the data analysts in the team and contribute to their technical growth.
- You will contribute to the improvement of our data analytics practices.
- You will collaborate with other data leaders in the creation and development of a Data Quality Framework for all new data products.
- You will play a key role in supporting us to attract, develop and retain great talent.
Who We Are Looking For
- You have a university degree in computer science, engineering, natural science, mathematics or a similar field.
- You have 4 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer / Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer.
- You have experience working with business stakeholders and translating their needs into concrete requirements for development.
- You have experience in leading a data function, ideally Analytics / BI.
- You have experience with common BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
- You have experience with different tools for ETL like dbt, Apache Airflow, etc.
- You have experience in building data pipelines and are familiar with the Kimball modelling approach.
- You have proven experience in delivering solutions from design to production using Agile methodologies and are able to break down complex projects into meaningful tasks.
- You have a deep understanding of the importance of well-organized codebase and documentation.
- You are highly self-organized and interested in taking over ownership and bringing the team to the best solution.
- You have strong analytical skills and are an open-minded and creative team player.
