We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as Senior System Engineer. In this key role, you will take the technical leadership of our IT team and infrastructure. Our team is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex problems and drive business success. 


What you will do:

  • Infrastructure as Code on Azure.
  • Design, implement and manage scalable and secure Azure infrastructure.
  • Automate deployments, configuration and management of our Azure resources. 
  • Monitor and optimize our cloud infrastructure for performance, costs and security. 
  • Endpoint Management (Intune).
  • Develop and enforce Intune policies to maintain device compliance, ensuring that all endpoints meet organizational security and configuration standards.
  • Streamline application deployments, updates, and device configurations across all managed endpoints to enhance productivity and maintain consistency.
  • Regularly review device health, compliance, and user activity to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring a secure and efficient endpoint environment that supports organizational goals.
  • Security Operations.
  • Oversee security operations tasks, including vulnerability management, incident response, and threat detection.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards across the infrastructure. 
  • Mentoring and Technical Leadership.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to our junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and professional development.
  • Lead by Example, promoting best practices in scripting, testing and deployment. 
  • Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to upskill the team. 
  • Documentation and Standards.
  • Maintain high standards for documentation, ensuring all systems, processes, and configurations are well-documented and easily accessible.
  • Review and update our documentation guidelines and templates to ensure consistency and clarity.  
  • Collaborator and Decision maker.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between IT and other departments to ensure alignment on projects and initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen relationships, with business stakeholders, managers.
  • Make strategic decisions autonomously, including those affecting cross-team architecture. 
  • Drives strategic alignment across teams, ensuring a strong focus on our company goals. 

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in system engineering, with a strong focus on Azure infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in IaC tools such as GitHub Action, Terraform, Pulumi
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and leading technical teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Hands-On mentality.
  • Proven experience in Scripting (pref. PowerShell)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
