As the Consumer Insights Team Lead, you will be responsible for shaping the understanding of our consumers, playing a pivotal role in bringing a consumer-centric view into strategic business decisions.  
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven leadto drive initiatives that deepen our understanding of customers and drive business growth. In this role, you will lead a team of researchers and analysts, collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, product and market teams, and turn complex data into actionable insights that shape marketing, product development, and customer experience strategies. 

What you will do:

  • Drive the team to strengthen Emma’s understanding of key consumer segments.
  • Act as the voice of the consumer within the business, fostering a consumer-centric mindset that balances business objectives with customer needs.
  • Guide the use of customer feedback to inform strategies and drive improvements in customer experience and brand perception.
  • Combine business data, market and consumer research to build a full overview of consumers, behaviors, and needs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Bring new ideas and innovative approaches to conducting and analyzing research and insights.
  • Translate insights into clear, compelling narratives and present recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Continuously improve research methodologies, data storytelling, and the strategic impact of the insights function.
  • Analyze and interpret consumer behavior, market trends, and brand health to inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, product, UX, and strategy to identify knowledge gaps and shape research roadmaps.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing consumer insights team, fostering technical expertise, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Establish clear goals, accountability measures, and development opportunities for team members to grow within their roles.
  • Define and implement clear processes and best practices across the company and the markets we operate in.

Who we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related field, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in research design, data analysis, and generating actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with research and analytics tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS, Tableau, Nielsen, etc.).
  • Commercially driven with a strong business mindset and a solid understanding of P&L, ensuring insights align with overall business performance.
  • Analytical problem-solver with the ability to interpret market trends and consumer behavior to drive innovation and growth.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, fostering collaboration, and cultivating a high-performance culture.
  • Results-oriented and comfortable navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  • Growth-minded, embracing ambiguity, continuous improvement, and driving meaningful change.
